1. Privacy

Homefix Custom Remodeling, Corp. (“HCR”) operates www.homefixcustomremodeling.com. Information you provide to us by filling out a form on our website may be shared with affiliates or third parties who could use that information to solicit or sell their products or services to you. When you fill out a form on our website, you are authorizing HCR and/or affiliates to contact you by phone and/or send text messages, and/or emails about products and services at the email and/or telephone number you entered, even if you are on a national or state “Do Not Call” list. If you also provide your street address, HCR may send you various promotional materials, including, without limitation, any of the following: promotional materials, invitations to events, special offers, announcements, or other items.  Your address could also be used by HCR to view your home or business online to determine if your building is eligible for our products and services and/or to provide service to you if you are a current customer.

2. Website Visitors

HCR may collect information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.  HCR’s purpose in collecting such information is to better understand how HCR’s visitors use its website. HCR may also release information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. HCR also collects potentially personally-identifying information including, but not limited to, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users, account holders, and for users leaving comments on www.homefixcustomremodeling.com and/or other blogs/sites. HCR may disclose user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses other collected information.

Visitors to HCR’s website may choose to interact with HCR in ways that require HCR to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that HCR gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.  For example, HCR may ask visitors who sign up or submit information requests at www.homefixcustomremodeling.com to provide a name, email address, and other information necessary to communicate with the person. HCR may disclose potentially personally-identifying information to others including, but not limited to, its employees, contractors, affiliates, and other third parties. HCR may also send you communications regarding promotions and other matters related to its business or services.

HCR may use the information we collect from and about you for various purposes, including: (1) To present our services and their contents to you; (2) To analyze, systems, and to develop new products and services; (3) To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us, and to contact and communicate with you when necessary; (4) To assess the suitability of your home for a solar system; (5) To notify you about changes to our services or any products or services we offer or provide though them; (6) To provide you and other users with customized content, targeted offers, and advertising on the services, or across other websites, mobile applications, social media or online services, or via direct mail, email, and/or telemarketing regarding offers, contests, events, news, programs, and other retail opportunities from us and/or selected third parties that we believe may be of interest to you; (7) To determine the effectiveness of our marketing programs; (8) To use your data in an aggregated non-specific format for analytical and demographic purposes; (9) In any other way we may describe when you provide the information to us; or (10) In any other way related to HCR’s business or services.  HCR may itself, or through the use of third parties, utilize collected information in order to measure and target advertisements for us about our products and services that are tailored to your online interests. We allow third-party companies to use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and other technologies to collect certain data and other information about your online activity. This information is used for various purposes, including to display advertisements for HCR or its services across other websites, mobile applications, social media, or through other online services that you use. We also may display interest-based ads through various other forms of media, including, without limitation, Facebook, Twitter, web browsers, and various other platforms or websites. These tools allow us to personalize our ads based on your shopping experience with us, without having to share your personal information with these social media platforms. We do this only by sharing hashed information (which converts your email or phone number to a unique string of numbers and letters) that the social media platform then matches data against its own data for the limited purpose of serving advertisements (either directly to you or to other lookalike audiences). The matched and unmatched hashes are then deleted, and are not used for any other purpose.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information sent by a web server to a web browser which allows the server to uniquely identify the browser on each page. Other tracking technologies are also used which are similar to cookies. This can include pixel tags and tracking URLs. All these technologies are together referred to in this Policy as “Cookies.”  The types of Cookies that we use on our website, and the purposes for which they are used, may include, but are not limited to:
  • Strictly Necessary/Essential Cookies: Cookies are essential to enable you to move around our website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas. Without these Cookies, any services on our website you wish to access cannot be provided.

All information these Cookies collect is aggregated and can be used, amongst other things, to improve how a website works.

  • Pixel tags: These are also known as a clear GIF or web beacon. These are invisible tags placed on certain pages of our website but not on your computer. If you turn off Cookies, the pixel tag will simply detect an anonymous website visit.
  • Tracking URLs: These are used to determine from which referring website our website is accessed.

8. Business Transfers

If HCR, or substantially all of its assets, are acquired, or if HCR ceases operation or enters bankruptcy, user information may be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. Advertisements appearing online may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by HCR and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. See also Section 7 (Cookies), above.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, HCR may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in HCR’s sole discretion. HCR encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy.
