Corporate Champion Wounded Warrior Project

Homefix Custom Remodeling Supports Our Warriors

Helping Warriors and Their Families Thrive

Chris Gordon was on patrol in Iraq in 2005 when an improvised explosive device (IED) literally launched him out of the armored vehicle he was riding in. When he woke up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center a few weeks later, he was without his right leg and had a permanent titanium rod in his left leg. At his hospital bedside, Chris received a Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) backpack filled with essential comfort items and a promise that WWP was going to be there throughout his journey to recovery.

Today Chris is standing tall as a husband, father, and student pursuing a college degree in information technology. To Chris, WWP is like family, and he remains actively involved with programs like Soldier Ride®, hunting and fishing trips, and attending sporting events. “They provide me with a lot of positive emotions so I can keep moving in a positive direction physically and mentally,” says Chris.

As a Corporate Champion partner with WWP, we are able to help provide lifechanging programs free of charge to over 100,000 wounded warriors, their families, and caregivers. Through this support, warriors are able to connect with each other, overcome mental health challenges, lead active and healthy lives, and find rewarding civilian careers.

At HCR, we are aligned with Wounded Warrior Project’s mission to support our troops and help separated military personnel find healthy, active, civilian careers. We employee a large number of former military personnel and greet each day with gratitude for their bravery and sacrifice. In our ongoing commitment to support our troops, HCR proudly donates a percentage of all sales to WWP.

Saluting Those Who Serve

Homefix Custom Remodeling is proud to support Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) as a Corporate Champion. WWP serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.

At HCR, we hold military service members in high esteem, both within our company and the community at large. The sacrifices made by those who protect and serve our country are not forgotten, and we show our appreciation through a long tradition of hiring and supporting current and former members of the military.

Not only do we employ veterans and separated service personnel, but we also offer significant discounts to customers with the same credentials. Holding these special people in high esteem is our way of communicating the pride and thankfulness we feel.

We encourage you to consider WWP for any charitable giving you may consider. They are a wonderful organization doing great things for our men, women, and families in service. For more information, please click here.
