This is my second time using HCR to install the rest of my windows. The service and quality of the materials/windows are top notch! I like quality and will pay for it. The service from the marketing and sales professionals all the way to the measurements person, finance person and QC person, yes all of them equal top notch service too. I love my windows.

Blake Harper

CFO

What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to and why?

I read a lot. I’ve always loved books, both non-fiction and fiction. I also read biogs, newsletters, and research papers. I can never get enough quality material. There is no way I would be in the position I am in my life without a love for reading.

How do you prefer to start your day?

I make a cup of coffee and take a walk in the neighborhood with my two dogs every morning.

What was your first job?

I was a construction worker in my small hometown. Operating a jackhammer, riding in the dump truck, and the constant banter with the other crew members are what I remember most. It gave me an appreciation for how physically demanding these types of jobs are and how hard our crews work.

What’s one thing that surprised you about working at HomeFix?

How people can really carve out their own career path and be promoted into new roles. There is really no limit to someone’s ability to grow and be successful at this company if they are determined to do it.

What’s something - big or small - that you’re really bad at?

Soothing a crying baby.
About a professional.

How do you prefer to start your work day?

I’m truly a morning person. Every day I start with an espresso and start tackling the day before my family is awake.

What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to and why?

I have always believed that part of my job was to invest time in those around me to help them be more successful. This goes well with my passion around engaged leadership to make sure everything I do will positively impact those around me.

You can count on me to get the job done. Along the way, I like to teach others what I know, show people the future and push people to improve while having positive/can-do outlook.

How do you prefer to start your day?

Espresso, journal, meditate, dog walk, exercise, avocado toast.

What was your first job?

1st “unofficial job” – paper route. I think this is where I fell in love with bicycles? 1st “official” job — bus boy at restaurant.

What’s one thing that surprised you about working at HomeFix?

Adam had told me that nearly everyone used Mac. So, I spent 2 months learning how to use one. Imagine my surprise when I moved here, came into the office and found that a significant amount of people used Windows! 🙂 That said, I can’t go back to Windows now. I’m hooked on Mac for life. Thanks, Adam!
